I Feel
The blade of the saw is sharp it cuts through the wood with ease and grace.
Like the words you speak in anger,
you might as well have just slapped my face.
The drill goes deep into the heart of the earth to find the oil running black
Like the sinking feeling I get, when in an instance,
your words fling at me in attack.
You have taught me that love can feel like a burn all swollen and scared from the
start.
That feelings and emotions can hurt like a disease ,
even though they come from the heart.
I’m not sure what causes you to treat me this way;
I’m not sure I even want to know.
Id rather just go on with my life
never letting my true feelings show.
