I Exist

I Exist
Who am I today I can't say.
My Father was a man that meant what he would say.
My mother was a woman that did as she say.
Yet sometimes I can't choose from yah or nah.
Who is the person I strive to be?
I don't feel my father's strength in me.
I don't have my mother's pure wit in me.
But my Father God surely made me.
I thought and thought and came up with this:
I am what my father put in a wish
I am what my mother called bliss
and out of God's imagination I EXIST!

Lovely way of reasoning, Debra! And because you exist, you can write this! All the best. // paul
