I Dropped a Tear In the Ocean

I sent a wish to the sky
When the heart is weakening
You will give anything a go

I asked for an angel
To hold my head when it hurt
Who could love me so

I lifted my head in the rain
Harrowing to view
To me it was beautiful and free

I walked out into the dark night
Into the small hours
When nobody was looking for me

I was given all my broken pieces
And told to account for every part
And throw them back into a sea of blue

I dropped a tear in the ocean
The tide threw me a lifeline
The day I found you....
