I Drive Defensively

I drive as if the rest of the vehicles are speeding bullets
because in truth they can be, except they might do more damage.
I drive defensively with my window cracked about an inch.
I do not want to be surprised when a firetruck cuts my car in half.
I turn my head when I change lanes because there is a blind spot.
Those who do not believe in a blind spot are not here to brag about it.

Oh, there most certainly is. I never ever trust my rearview mirror. I have to actually look and see! Good for you!

I had a drivers Ed instructor MR CROCKER who used to take our heads and turn them if we just checked the mirror. I have said "Thank you Mr Crocker a hundred times for saving my life
