I Dreamed of You

Walking in a field of flowers.
A look of radiance on your face
you take the fragrance in
you laugh
I got your attention, oh, it was so good
to see you, still a child, full of life.

Our visit was short, interrupted by your mentor
a woman dressed in white, she came through big white doors,
and took you away.
Willingly you went
How? Why?
I did not understand, when she said
we won't see each other again
THEY have better things in store for you
I believe this to be true
oh my dear, I'll always hold you near
and we will meet again
in this field of flowers
to talk about life as it should be.

You have gone to the next level of species
and we regret, damage was done.
It was you who was chosen to move on.
To tend your precious garden, in bloom again
make it a site to behold
every colour, no barriers,
holding your place of love
your place of tranquillity
your place of serenity

Your haven worthy of the highest angel in heaven.
I know we'll meet again when our gardens are ready
