I Dreamed a Dream

I dreamed a dream
Of a flowing stream,
Where things got wet
In a pristine jet,

Near to that stream
The flowers did gleam,
They stole the show
With their coloured glow,

Came there the birds
Chirruping sweet words,
Then flew across
The carpeted moss,

I sat down there
To enjoy and stare,
Then screamed a scream
For 'twas just a dream.
