I don't want you to die for me
Listen to poem:
Lost in this simple game playing out a satisfying life
A partner engaged with me, never causing strife
Softly, we tremble together in the summer warmth tonight
Before I met you, I wasn't happy; alone in my own sad dim light
You're a beautiful cat; I am the mouse caught within your sight
I feel immortal holding hands; as the sun sets to benight
Vulnerable, all though knowing the space between us is airtight
I'm satisfied; for you are all I've ever wanted, finding it came at a more than reasonable price!
I don't need you to die for me; I need you to live life out with me, never, ever, thinking twice!
