I Don'T Want a Break...

The last few days,
Things have gone fast.
But you need to let it happen,
and make it last.
It wasn't "I love you."
It was "I think."
With those things that you've said,
you make my heart sink.
You said you want a break,
but that would break me in two,
Like I've said over and over,
"I do love you."
I want us to happen.
I think you do too.
But what do I know?
I'm not you.
I know you so well,
as you do me.
It needs to be us,
Just two, not three.
Don't et me wrong,
not trying to rush things.
Just don't say goodbye,
for the birds would not sing.
The grass would not grow.
The Sun would not shine.
At least not until,
Im sure that your mine...
