I Don'T Remember One Moment I Tried To Forget

I don't remember one moment I tried to forget,
I'm pretty sure this life isn't over yet.
I don't know how I made it so far,
but one thing I'll remember is every scar.

The good and the bad, I take it as one,
I start each day as if life just begun.
I stop and breathe and taste every moment,
in this world and this time I'll leave my own foot print.

I will not sprint and get this life over fast,
I will enjoy the smallest things and make it last.
I'm on an adventure and on this quest,
I'll feel it all and time won't be pressed.

Not a part of me feels sorry, not the smallest fraction,
I make my own destiny, it's not a chain reaction.
I took this life and put it under my own wing,
You should try to fly and cut the string.

There is not a single breathe I want to forget,
There is not a single moment I'll ever regret.
I cut out the future with my own knife,
so I'm going to go on and live my life.
