I Dont Love You

I don't love you anymore, The magic is gone, I'm out the door, I don't know what went wrong. Things aren't what they use to be, Now we just co-exist, I don't love you and you don't love me, Months since we kissed. At first it was fun and we tried, But our flame has gone out, What we thought we had just died, We blame each other no doubt. There is nothing we need to say, I don't love you, I'm sure you see, Its time for us to walk away, You don't love me, go be free.

Well penned, Timothy. Sad but people do drift apart. Best to leave on good terms.

Sadly flames die out more often than not these days. Love your poetry.

Hello Timothy … I guess partnerships grow on respect and trust, and as your poem suggests if these begin to fall apart, then it's time to part and for both sakes, a clean break - thanks Timothy - Lindsay

You are right friend. I think for every good love story there is a bad one too.
