I Dont Love You

I don’t love you
And that’s the truth
Love isn’t a word strong enough to describe how I feel about you

The definition of love has so many meanings
Some of which fall short from this spiritual urge surrounding you

Passionate
Now that’s a word I would use
That strong and barley controllable emotional sense I get when I’m around you

Compassion
I might use that word too
That sympathetic pity and concerned feeling I get for all those around, who don’t know what it feels like to be loved by you

Adore
Now this I find to be true
To respect someone deeply
To hold close this treasure I see in you

Cherish
That look in your eyes
To protect and care for someone
And never leave their side

To find one word to express how I feel about you
I could never decide
Instead let me show you
One day at a time

This is the most telling loving poem; you have definitely found a great woman to love Durley. You are both blessed!
