I Don'T Know If You Can Hear Me
I don't know if you can hear me,
Or feel our pain and Regret.
Some days are filled with aching,
But sometimes I can forget.
I don't know if you are listening,
But we often speak your name.
Searching for some sort of sign,
But all we feel is pain.
I don't know if you are watching,
But your brother's barely hanging on.
Our family continues to crumble,
Every second you are gone.
I don't know if can you understand,
That no one here came out unscathed.
I would say this to your face,
But I now must say it to your grave.
