I Don'T Know All I Need To Know

I don’t know all I need to know
To mount the mighty mountains
To sail safely on the stormy sea
And walk wisely in the wilderness
Dear lord, you’re all I need to know

I don’t know all I need to know
To fight this fearless, fiery foe,
To win the war in this wild world
And win Christ’s colorful crown 
Dear lord, you are all I need to know

I don’t know all I need to know 
to stop staying in this sinful state
to stop walking in the weary way
And quit lingering in a lonely lane
Dear lord, you’re all I need to know

I don’t know all I need to know
To pray, praise and… preach 
To wait on your will and words
And lead a lovely, lively life
Dear lord, you’re all I need to know

I don’t know all I need to know
To pick the passport to paradise
To get to that great golden gate
And get to heaven, my happy home.
Dear lord, you are all I need to know.
