I Don'T Know

I don't know how you can
look me in the eye
after all you have done
after leaving me behind
for you to carry on
with that thing you call life
after leaving me alone
empty and broken inside...

I don't know how you can walk
your path without me
I don't know how you can lock
your heart like this
I don't know how you can block
I don't know how you don't miss
I don't know how you can pretend
that I don't exist.
