The dungeon door opens or is it my imagination
Winter’s cold chill no longer powered by time
Something so familiar creates a great sensation
Long ago I had already fallen to this temptation
Following my heart, but also committing a crime
The dungeon door opens or is it my imagination
What I would sacrifice to again feel that elation
Just for a moment, yes any mountain I’d climb
Something so familiar creates a great sensation
Too long I’ve lived with a constant hesitation
Foolishly lowering myself into filth and grime
The dungeon door opens or is it my imagination
I hope with everything, but there is speculation
Am I Pavlov’s dog salivating simply for the chime
Something so familiar creates a great sensation
Most importantly I must change this situation
No longer will I look at normality as sublime
