I Don'T Cry

Sometimes I find it hard
To be strong.
  No matter what I do,
It comes out wrong.

There is so much wreckage to
Overcome.
  So much darkness,
Not much sun.

The only thing I can feel,
Is the pain.
  No more sunshine,
I only see the rain.

  A lot of wreckage,
A lot to heal.
  One thing for sure,
It's been real.

  I'm a people person,
But I'm alone.
  I'm in physical pain,
Right down to the bone.

  My attitude sucks and,
People are crazy.
  They're stupid, creepy
A whole lot of shady.

I tough it out, you never know
What's around the corner?
  I take each day as,
Debbie the explorer.

  So, if you see me,
Do not ask why.
  I try to smile,
So, I don't cry.

Poignant, piercing, painful ~ silence and stillness offers not only release from pain but connects us with spirit, with joy and bliss
