I Do Remember

I do remember the day I died
I do remember: no one cried
For no one knew, no one cared
An unknown man: a life unshared
For early in this young man's prime
A victory lost in the sands of time
A wedding with the knell of a silent bell
The future of the groom a living Hell

I do remember an enjoyable Life
Until the Everlasting Day I lost my Wife
I do remember those that said
Why do you walk with the living Dead?
Why do you live in a darken sphere?
Surrounded by Death, Enveloped in fear
That I may nevermore see My Love LENORE
When I stand and Knock at Heaven's door
