I Do Not Know What
I wish that certain things could be conveyed in just a simple touch.
When words fall short and there seems no resort,
Are we destined to just walk away when we want to say so much?
If only I could have you see.....
.........No
If I could only have you KNOW
Just what it feels like inside my heart,
or what it sounds like inside my head.
To have you KNOW exactly what all these resentments harbored bred.
There are no words that I can tell,
Nor act with which to show
For you to know what it is like for me
to share my days and spend my nights (to COEXIST) with such bittersweet sorrow.
