I Do Not Know About You

I don`t know about you
But I see that I must forget everything
And try to live and get through

Perhaps your betrayal will make me stronger
And instead of resenting you
I will not have to worry any longer

I don`t know about you
But I am aware that I must
Find another happiness to pursue

Maybe your lies will make me wiser
And rather than bringing me down
I`ll become happier and work harder

I just want to sweep my mind
And forget about our lost love
I want to sweep it, inside and outside

I think that most of us can really relate to this poem. You expressed your feelings so well here, that the reader can feel your emotions coming through in every line. Nicely done, Vesna!...Thank you for the kind comments on my poem. I appreciate it very much!
