I Discovered Poetry

I see my grief flow amongst the black ink, I know that one day it will soon become pink. Every word, every vowel is a brand new tear, The first one I wrote contains so much fear. A release in each line, a torrent of pain, I know all will ease, well that is my aim. I write every hour, every minute, each day, I can feel my emotions subsiding away. A therapy I never thought, not aware, Of the ease of my burden when I start to share, Onto my paper flows tears from my pen, I wish I had have found this, way back when! There in the script is my life for to see, A cryptic biography all about me, I'll recommend this for the pain and the grief, put it down in pure words and you feel slight relief.
