(Lights dim/ A single spotlight illuminates a figure standing center stage/ A beat drops - a simple, soulful bass line/
The figure leans into the mic/
East Village cafe, brick walls whisperin' low, Steam rising from a cup of joe/
But it ain't the caffeine, no, and it ain't the joe, It's you, baby, that makes my heart glow/
I dig you the most, see, 'cause you make coffee your way/ Not pre-packaged perfect, but brewed fresh, day by day. Strong, bold, a little rough around the edges, man, I dig it that way/
Hey, baby, I dig you the most/ like always got somethin' to say/
(The bass line deepens slightly) I dig you the most when I see you struttin' my way, A force of nature, you brighten up any day/
And that Cleopatra hair, piled high, in ancient display/ makes my heart beat faster, what else can I say/
I dig you the most when you're laughin' at our feline crew, those furry little weirdos, pullin' our chain, Yo baby, dig this feeling, honest and true/
Hey baby, I just dig you the most, in everything you do/
(A breath, a pause/ The spotlight seems to intensify)
Lovin' you, baby, it's a party, all day long!/
A symphony of moments, a beautiful, heartfelt song/ I dig you the most when you're rockin' that Channel scent, strong/
Baby, I just dig you to no end/
Cause you are my wife, lover, and best friend/
