I Didn'T Know

If I would have known that was our last kiss.
I would have made it so different I promise you this.
If I knew if that it was our final goodbye.
I would have made it worth the tears I've cried.
Why is it you who gets to choose it is over?
Were you even in it from the start?
How fair that you walk away all put together...
as I stand here and fall apart?
All the things you said;
promises you failed to keep.
Run right through my head;
stop me from getting sleep.
But I’ll hold on to our good times tight.
Pray to god to get through the night.
If I get sleep, I hope I dream;
'cause you'll be there all night...
holding me.
