I Did It My Way

Can’t walk the mile like humans do
Because I am short and off the scene
But I believe I am no humans match
Even in my fragile pissing skin

I did it and still doing it my way
I am mightier than Man can imagine
That I bury my head inside of me
Does not say any much about my margin

I get magic all around me
The closer you tour my line
The better you near my world
In physique though flimsy but bodies no crime

Can’t do it in your way even if your want it
Love me for who I am if really you’re a friend
Then prove to me humans are nice creation
So from you I can learn, lend and mend

Is Andrea right about it being a turtle. Could be. Something that is threatened by humans and needs to be reassured that they are kind. Could be many parts of life, and that is what makes it a fantastic poem. Very well done..... Robert.

hey, am I wrong, but are you describing a turtle here? Very creative one.
