I Dare Loose Heart

I dare loose heart on everything and everyone.
I have no strength enough to keep my arms held up.
Around me there is no pillar of strength.
                                        All are exhausted,
                                          The air is thick,
                                  The atmosphere is draining.

Around me are cracked walls starring back at me.
                            Old posters stand as encouragement,
Dull, Rumpled curtains dangle to bring color!
                                       I dare loose heart,
                                    All is just but cheerless.

I loose heart because You don’t.
When I am weak, You are strong.
When I feel drained, the more potent You become.
                                              Fill me.
