I Cried

When I was young,
Songs were unsung.
Life held a chance,
And love was romance.
Now years pass by...
Songs die.
And I thought I was strong,
But I was wrong.
You never said goodbye.

Standing in the rain,
I watched you walk away.
And I cried... I cried.
Standing in the rain.
Just standing in the rain.

I spent all those years,
Hiding the tears.
And I never did see
How you missed me.
Now years pass by...
Songs. die.
And I thought I was strong,
But I was wrong.
You never said goodbye.

Standing in the rain
I watched you walk away
And I cried... I cried.
Standing in the rain.
Just standing in the rain.

I know I ran away
But you did not give chase.
And I begged for you to see
But you did not believe in me.
So you just walked away.
And you never said goodbye.

Now I'm standing in the rain.
Never heard you call my name.
And I cried... I cried.
Never knew you felt the same.
But I'm left standing in the rain.
Cause you never said goodbye.
Goodbye.
Still waiting for goodbye.
Just needing your goodbye.
