I Cried

I needed you today
You turned and walked away
The blow was deep
It reached my soul
The chill it left
Was very cold
Love shivered and died
And I cried

I cried for me, for you and for us
I cried for what could have been
What should have been
And what will never be
This sadness will forever live in me
