I Could Rule the Sky

i could rule the sky
you could rule the sea.
the birds would carry essences of you up to me
carried in their golden beaks
while i would reach down to you
through the clouds as rain.
i would fall a thousand times
into your deep bosom.
a dream of kings.

the years go by
but they do not scare me
for i know there will always be
a part of you that will dwell within me.
nothing can separate us for long.
i will find you wherever you may be.
as the Sun and the Moon
are destined to be together,
so are we.
i will be the golden sky
making love to your silver sea

I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
