I Could, Could You

I'm not as free with my desires. As I was when hormones afire. With age and doctors intervention. My ability is not much to mention. But when the sun still shines on me. My heart remembers it still see's. And not all life is just hot blooded. But rather love in veins now flooded. Sometimes you see someone online. Who you think I could make her mine. But past illusions quell esteem. And you're still not sure what's a meme. Maybe some day I'll have the means. To win the love inside my dreams. Until that day I'll remain blue. And solemnly say I could, could you?

I like how your poem poem explores the complexities of aging, desire, and love, with an emphasis on the longing for deeper connection, even when faced with the challenges of self-doubt, past experiences, and the modern landscape of relationships.
