I Control the Storms
why ride a wave?
I'd rather let it ride me
to make me brave
so I can ride eternity
why take shelter from the rain?
I'd rather it drench me in hope
it might sound insane
but it will teach me to cope
in a flood I refuse to drown
I let it wash through my soul
making me too strong to take down
it's the storms that make me whole
