I Choose

I choose life
A life of goals
A life to grow and learn some more
A life where I can choose the road

I choose to live
To live happy and free
To live with all of my cares

I choose to love
To love myself
To love my family, friends, and neighbors too
To love all mankind within its place

I choose the day instead of night
I choose the light


Dedicated to anyone who has suffered from depression, and found the light again.
