I Choke

air! why did you perish? sewing my death cloak, i choke. shrieking, my limping words go nowhere. tongues are but brown worthless pawns. the body has the pace of water running in a gutter. glory dives behind the sun. condensed milk without water.

devil’s sick laugh. blood moon for generations. we dream with boots on, to the edge. no war, fierce lungs. red eyes sink. ardent supporters match cursed helmets with rifles. blood cannot lay out fire. peace cannot persuade the evil. in current life, we are blind. money sways the end of days.
