I Chase the Wind, and Live I Tasting It

I Chase The Wind, And Live I Tasting It My angry dust is dust of desert plains. Invisible chains hold me. I am not free. I am worn with a wild desire and yet fit I have wandered the earth and mountains In vain fled from Apollo's burning fires I chase the wind, and tasting all of it. What avails gathering world's stirring motions As the planets above fly right on by Wherein wide across is the windy ocean And soft the mourning doves sin My angry dust is dust of desert plains. Invisible chains hold me. I am not free. Invisible chains hold me. I am not free. My lost lover you have that hold over me! Robert J. Lindley, Rhyme, Oct. 23rd 1971

Thank you, my good friend. That refrain was real for a time in my life. God bless.
