I Change the Way I See

Little sparks of dazzling light Float across my vision And change the way I see the might Of every little image. Now to live, love and learn Are all important factions But I need to know when to turn My knowledge into actions. I copy the ways of my teachers For they are the ones who know I don’t need to watch in the bleachers I need to get up and go. My elders are those with whom I feel safe A warm haven free of fear Their thoughts and mine are not ones to chafe But they guide me far, far from here.
