I Cease

"I Cease"


I dissolve into nothingness
I bleed into water
I cease to exist
The world continues
nary a space where I was
is left

I'd gotten so small
air now fills in
Usurps my physicality
I want this.
Too hard to hope
for anything more
than a body bag
refrigerator
and a thousand degrees
of fire
Where I can become
simple ash
and
bones
