I Catch Them

From on the breeze I catch a scent
A gift from far away
I know I’m not imagining it
As I catch it everyday
I also hear a whispered voice
Calling out to me
It speaks of loves and secrets told
That set our two hearts free

Upon the reflective oceans
That seem to separate
I catch the many breezes
This man’s begotten fate
I’ll hold them, but not stop them
As required by my heart
For the sender on the breezes
Will forever be a part
