I Can'T Write Today

Seems like my world
Is shattering beneath my feet
The phone rings constantly
Heart racing with each beat

Sorrow, heartache
The loss of a friend
I want to walk with someone
Till there is no end

My mind is exploding 
With so much to do
But I can't forget how much
I Love You

I cannot call him
I know he loves me not
I'm on my second regret 
For my love will only be in thought

I hold back 
So I may let him go
I desire his presence
More than he'll ever know.

Fear of failing
Will always keep us apart
Knowing this is just a step
On where I need to start

I will be looking over him
He will know I'm there
My spirit is all around
Within him my soul will appear
