I Can'T Write a Poem

Forget it.
You must be kidding.
I don’t know how.
It’s too hot my brain is melting.
My brother got all the creativity.
It’s too loud in here.
I can’t think.
The lights are too bright, there’s a glare on my paper.
The lights are too dim, I can’t see the paper.
My mind keeps wandering to my date tonight.
Time’s up? Uh Oh!
All I have is a dumb list of excuses.
You like it? Really? No kidding.
Thanks a lot. Would you like to see another one?

Lol. I only wrote this for my English class. I actually love writing poetry and have been doing it for years. My English class is working on format poetry and this is the format we had to follow. It's just too bad I can't figure out what category of poem to put it under.

I think this a poem all of us could have written, if only we'd thought of it.
