I can't take another hour
Raise your fist,
Hope I cower,
You want me to stay, but
I can't take another hour.
Make me feel worthless,
It's your superpower.
You say you don't love me,
And I can't take another hour.
You scream at me,
You're always sour,
You said you wouldn't hurt me again,
But I can't take another hour.
You said you'd quit drinking,
But your alcoholism flowered,
I can't trust you anymore,
So I can't take another hour.
You said you'd help me feel comfortable again,
But you helped me feel like I needed to shower.
You didn't respect my wishes,
And I can't take another hour.
You bought me a ring,
Then you became dour,
You took my safety and my happiness.
I can't take another damn hour.
You've made me stay here before,
It feels like my free will was devoured.
One day I'll get out,
Because I can't take one more f%ckin hour.
