I Can'T Breathe

My thoughts are weary. I can't express them, except in poetry. Should i worry when i don't worry? Am black, am not sorry. But this is too heavy for me carry. It's scary. Just let me breathe. Date: 9.Jun.2020 Contest: I Can't Breathe Poetry Contest Sponsor: Richard Lamoureux

Hi Phred, It is scary when people are targeted, but you must know how many supporters you have who hate and loathe what happened - short poem and directly to the point - excellent poetry, Blessings, Jennifer.

Phred, this is too heavy for anybody to carry. Your honesty shines forth in this poem, as does the weariness. When will things get better? When everybody gets the message and makes a change for the good. Thank you for helping spread that message ~ John

It's just too much. We should spread the message and find out peace. We are humans we should live as one. Thanks John, Blessings. Phred

welcome to the writers bin...mmmahhaha …..seriously though, there does exist a logic with respect different peoples that does not end in conflict but in logical agreement....there's too damn much of the 'us versus them' from any two-party political system as in the states where money-power is 'survival of the fittest'...and all the while the people go without things like public 'health care'

The everyday cries. No one wants to reminded about what happened in south Africa. We want them to be stories we read in books, but not those we tell as personal stories. Thanks sand. Best regards, Phred
