I Can'T

I can’t get the rhythm
Can’t get this rhyme
I can’t get this song
moving in time
The whole of this lyric
just feels so wrong
Can’t get the beat
bobbing along







I can’t place the words
Can’t hear the sounds
I can’t stop this melody
From playing around
It’s just like one of
those writing fights
It must be one of
those damn rotten nights






I can’t write this tune
and get it to rock
I must be in  
a state of shock
It just doesn't want
to tick or tock
I Just can’t believe
I've got writers block







No I can’t write this song
Because it just don’t belong
I think I should quit
just heard a ding dong
Must be someone
pushing my bell
Come back tomorrow
I’m under some spell
