I Cannot Kiss and Forget

Not for long I will go loving you… God knows it has to stop it hurts too much…. maybe then you will see how painful it can be to be alone… having no one loving you with everything they have… having no one to hug, to call when you are sad.

But for now I’m still hoping of the perfect ending that never comes, dreaming that you
will hold my hand, wake me up with a kiss that will make the day feel perfect.
The sun is shining the clouds are so white the sky so blue and I am smiling like
there is nothing else that matters…. Like I finally got my happy ending….

But then you are gone and I’m alone sitting in the dark trying to understand a life that
makes no sense looking for answers, calling old flames to try to cover the pain, looking
for a hug in the wrong arms some compassion for this broken heart… its broken again,
breaks easily it’s been some many times and some many pieces are missing… and I don’t
seem to ever learn that I can’t play around with my heart… I’m just not that strong. I
can’t kiss and forget….
