I Can Say, I Can Do

I can say I'm honest,
But would you believe me?
I can say I was lying,
But would you still swim in my sea?

I can tell you lies,
Bring you even closer,
I can tell you the truth,
It'll be a heavier dose though,

I can grab your attention?
By behaving in a bigger viewing,
Or I can stand next to you,
So we're smiling in a greater doing?

What if I said to you,
You're beautiful all around,
Or instead said you can work on it,
So you end up not hearing your own sound,

I can even take you through my life,
Explaining my whole world really fast,
Have you struggling with me,
So you can doubt if we should last,

Or I can just love you,
Hold you tight
Never let go,
Work on it right?

Things do get better
If you hold on right,
give all you got,
So it stays tight inside & out
