I Can Find No Peace

I can find no peace.
Tired eyes on open graves.

I can find no peace.
Beaming filtered hatred waves.

I can find no peace.
Won't you lead me day by day?

To where I no longer hide.
To where heartaches melt away.

I can find no peace.
Anger feeds my want of war.

I can find no peace.
Until I find your open door.

I can find no peace.
But I refuse to lose my mind.

And all this time I could have sworn.
Your Love was here for me to find.

extremely well written and emotional. you seem to understand the biggest fact of love...it is better to love and hurt than to never love at all. Love for all the world, Ridge

Loved this poetry and the way you used the phrase, I can find no peace, sounds your speaking from war point of view. enjoyed reading it and have a blessed day.

cool, I knew there was a reason I spelled Love with a capital L. A lot of poets do that on this site.

Some strong feelings here, deep from the soul, well written. You can find peace in God, just look to him and he will give you that peace you so desperately seek. Nicely done! God Bless* Tyesha
