I Can Be a Friend

It is so easy you see
I have this flexibility
There when required
Off when not desired

For I know my place
As you require space
The spirit to be free
A cage is not for thee

Oh I will always care
Treasured times share
But realize that dreams
Carry different themes

I will be there when heeded
Provide the comfort needed
When content, to disappear
When troubled, always near

A good friend knows when he is needed and offers space to those who require it. You have a very caring, mature outlook on life and I am proud to call you my friend, Daniel. Love, Carolyn

You do know how to be a good friend! This made me think of a verse called Precious Fare..you might like it? (3rd line from bottom needs a "d" needed.) Light & Love
