I Can

Graduated from MORCASS with a soul stuck up in one class Good life lessons bewildering, mehn that subject had held me back During the Eucharistic rites my backside was glued to my seat By lustful desire and lies, I was breathing in sin If one treads in darkness, He is bound to go astray A city with vain worldly pleasures, like sex, money and fame Which never last forever, like the kingdom of the father A garden with fruit eternal, Jesus Christ is the way Temptation is the battalion, I’m still battling with My soul’s the only target to which their Javelin hit God blessed me with noble allies, I began travelling with Old ways we’re cancelling it, we preach, we’re practicing it The gospel and Christ body became breakfast every morning My days that seemed the darkest, began to get bright and sunny When Satan struck his matchete, my shield of faith destroyed it Is righteousness ever perfect on this long salvation journey? I can be the greatest rapper that ever lived Trying to inspire millions of people to live fulfilled Indulge my passion in the blue blood my biro spills The inexplicable, I’m capable, Christ strengthens me I am a branch of the true vine, my berry’s very nutritious Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, for Christ I will carry that cross I possess kindness and faithfulness Possess goodness and gentleness Possess self-control, firm to the trunk of life I’m victorious, its glorious I’ve been redeemed by Christ Jesus I’m wise, righteous and sanctified Baptized, forgiven, purified By his blood I am a Child of God Predestined to reap reward I am free and steady I am the light of the world I am unashamed and ready I am a new creation More than a conqueror Mighty in his power Strong, fearless, secure Made in the likeness of God PRO
