I Buy the Greens

Eating is at an all-time high.
Processed foods is what many buy.
Sluggish meats sit for years in our gut.
Stagnating us, taking our strut.
Leafy green veggies is what we should eat.
Chocolate candy and cookies truly defeat.
I buy the greens, every week the same fee.
Throwing them out when they get too gamey.

Nicely done poem about healthy eating, Caren. I'm lucky, I guess, that I have always liked all kinds of vegetables, but especially green ones. Thanks for sharing!

You are MOST lucky! I like chocolate, peanut butter and anything sweet or salty.

I do not like any green things but know I must try and like them.

Funny muse! I throw the greens out after a candy binge.

I ate half a box of candy today; it is like you saw this.
