I Breathe Death

I breathe my last breath. will and testament Consciously aware of what comes next...Death So I breathe and savor the cool wind within Smile as it fills my lungs but never again So I breathe as a tear drop falls out of my eyes Lifting upwards through clouds and blue skies So I breathe just one of so many breaths It's time, drifting towards my one and only death Written for contest "I Breathe..." hosted by Ink Empress 11/17/2024

Dear brian, what a hauntingly soul hitting take on the prompt, very well written and flows in such a seamless manner , i loved especially “ So I breathe and savor the cool wind within Smile as it fills my lungs but never again“ heartfelt! Loved that, thank you for sharing and for writing on the prompt. Congratulations on your win.

Oh Brian this is so lovely. But please read the contest rules. You need to add a word to the title something like I breathe death? Or something different. Hojp to see you on the winner list.

Thank you for letting me know I changed it in time I think not that I like the title better with death at the end of it but I don't want to get disqualified over a technicality. Thanks for reading and your always sound advice you have saved me a couple of times in years past in the same sort of situation
