I Belive They Want You Saved.
Many would follow with you at the lead.
Seconds are passing, you take them freely.
When will you learn to take the first step?
Without running off, saying “Not Yet.”
I wish I were able to run like you do,
But don’t think for a second,
That I don’t have the power to.
I wish that I had more help with the cause,
But I don’t have the time to think back with a pause.
I wish the pain were not so heavily laid.
What choice do I have but to move on through the haze?
What is my reward?
It is promised to be great.
So many think that it is too soon or too late,
Or that Heaven won’t be up to their high expectation rate.
They would rather rule the world they love so dearly,
How ignorant they must be,
To forget that same world was made by God, for you and me.
Keep separating the two,
You lack the courage to believe.
You would rather wait until your day comes
And then decide to see.
You desire to disregard you’re being tested too.
Your hourglass is empty,
What now will you do?
You had a heart of gold,
That you kept all to yourself.
Gave none of it through your actions,
Yet you still think you’ll pass the test.
Well now doesn’t your life seem easy?
Getting everything just how you wanted.
There is a way that seems so right to us,
And then the truth is paved.
Listen to the angels calling,
I believe they want you saved.
