I Believe In Faeries

I BELIEVE IN FAERIES, YES I DO
I SEE THEM IN MY GARDEN, DO YOU?
IF YOU SQUINT AND LOOK CLOSELY,
 THEY ARE RIGHT THERE
SILKEN WINGS FAST FLUTTERING,
AND LONG FLAXEN HAIR
TINY VOICES SO QUIET
HARDLY HEARD BY YOUR EARS
OH THEY SING AND THEY DANCE
NOT A CARE NOT A FEAR
A NEW FAERY EMERGES
SHE HAS JUST GOT HER WINGS
FOR THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS
EACH TIME A BELL RINGS
THEY ARE TINY AND BEAUTIFUL
 AND COME OUT AT NIGHT
BUT BE SURE THEY DON'T HEAR YOU
 AS THEY WILL TAKE FRIGHT
AND AWAY TO THE DISTANCE
 WHERE NO MAN CAN SEE
THEY WILL FLY AND WILL HIDE FOR THEY ARE
THE FAERY
