I Believe In a Personal Living God

Believe is a gift of a word
a gift from God in heaven above
it's so precious to know and believe
brings one to God whose name is love

God has shown Himself in His son
the only begotten of the father
who is full of grace and truth
Jesus Christ who came to gather

This is the God that I believe in
who came in love to take my sin
Jesus died on Calvary's cross alone
forgiving me a sinner to atone

This Jesus walks with me every day
promises to stick by me ever close
no matter the dangers through life
from before creation I He has chose 

I know by scripture Jesus loves me
over and over He has proved this true
He being God is alive never to die
keeps me in tune makes me feel brand new

(Everybody really believes in something.  There is something we would like to tell everybody about because you really believe it is so.  so here's is what I truly believe.)
